Portfolio

Here is a portfolio of some of my previous work. For other examples of my work have a look at the Templates Section, there are plenty of my designs in there.

Title: Screenshot Site
Link: Link no longer available.
Description: The screenshot Junket. This website is goo dbecause it has a simple and quaint design, but more importantly it's a chance for me to flex my PHP skills. This site gives amaeteur game makers the opportunity to show off screenshots of their games - my programming means that their files are automatically hosted, exhibitioned to the public and ready for feedback.

Title: CSS Playground
Link: http://services.uirpg.com/lib/examples/css/
Description: This is one of my personal favourites. I made this page as a practice exercise, to improve my skills with HTML and CSS. You can change the style of the page with the drop-down selector (I used a tiny bit of PHP to achieve the switch). The only piece of code that actually changes is the CSS. The power of CSS can be observed as the page completely changes in appearance.

Title: Fair Trade Project
Link: http://services.uirpg.com/lib/examples/fairtrade/
Description: This design comes from a small project I had to do for my Citizenship Coursework back in 2004. It got me an A in my coursework, so I'm happy with it. This design is simple, but comfortable, and it's one of the first designs I ever did on my own (ie without using microsoft Frontpage).

Title: FF7: Omega Vangelis
Link: http://projects.uirpg.com/ff7ov
Description: This website is the home of a game development project called FF7: Omega Vangelis. As you may or may not have noticed it uses the "Green Zone" template which can be found on the templates page. Also, this website is not technically man made. It is entirely generated by the Ultima Island website, and highlights a project hosting feature of Ultima Island which gives users their own websites to showcase their developing game projects.

Title: Finishing Touch
Link: http://jenova.uirpg.com/
Description: Finishing Touch, an adult themed flash showcase and community website. I coded the design and the backend system for a friend, during which time I gained my first and last experience with Flash.
Testimonials: Alex Francois: I had a bunch of Flash movies and games waiting to be exposed to the wider public. Joe Green made this website for me, and I was really impressed by the results. The best thing is I never have to get too technical to update the site - I just log in to my admin account and upload my flash movies through a simple form.

Title: Ultima Island
Link: http://uirpg.com
Description: Ultima Island, bitches! Quality speaks for itself.
Testimonials: None.

Title: Ultima Island Network
Link: http://net.uirpg.com
Description: The Ultima Island Network (UINet) is the homeland of a collection of websites and, currently all web-based, media, which carry the Ultima Island network name. This site itself is a part of the network. This site was entirely 100% designed, programmed & coded by me.
Testimonials: None.

Title: Zelda Masters
Link: http://services.uirpg.com/lib/examples/zelda/
Description: This site was made but never ever used back when I was making Ultima Island v1 (see bottom of portfolio). I just thought it might be worth showing off, for any Zelda enthusiasts out there. This was designed in microsoft Frontpage, and for me it serves as a reminder never to use Frontpage again.
Testimonials: None.

Title: Cyclone Gaming
Link: Link no longer available.
Description: A gaming website with a huge range of coverage spanning over Playsation, Xbox and Nintendo. For this project I was only partially involved in the design, but the backend (the PHP) was completely custom-coded by me. It features a user system, news system, phpBB forums, and a huge content management system packed with features.
Testimonials: Kenny: This is my frist official site; it's awesome. I originally had a crappy programmer, the php sucked and wasn't even his/her work. Seraph surpassed amazing when he astonished me with his skills. To start off with, the systems he programmed were brilliant. I couldn't believe my site was actually happening. Seraph's an AWESOME coder and I hope you bastards ask him KINDLY to code for you.

Title: Flash Bottle
Link: Link no longer available.
Description: This is another flash showcase site which I made for a client. The design is cleaner than ever, and backend programming for the content management system is 100% my own. The portal allows registered and logged in users to submit pictures, flash and audio files to be viewed by people visiting the site.

Title: onbalanceassistance
Link: Link no longer available.
Description: Onbalance Assistance can create bookkeeping services, tailor made for your business, developing your accounting system into your most powerful tool. I was responsible for the design and programming of this website for the company.

Title: Ultima Island version1
Link: Link no longer available.
Description: This was my first ever web dev project, which I embarked on back when I was 13 years old. The site was made to fuel my video game hobby. When it was up and running it consisted of a dark table-based layout, although it has now been lost to the sands of time.
Testimonials: Alex Hamilton: When I first visited the site I found it to be warm, welcoming, and fun. It had a great community of users both in the forums, and on the chatroom. It's grey and dark colours were original at the time and really grabbed my attention.
Mike Pobega: I thought the original site was a little bland in design, but full of exciting content! I myself never visited the main site much, but I didn't think there was much wrong with it.
